It wasn't the most original plot or the best writing, but de niro and pacino made the movie worth seeing. It makes me wonder whatit would have been like if they were given better direction and script...
My husband and I were both disappointed in this movie! Two great actors don\'t always make a great movie. Lots of typical police action and language. The plot was suspenseful, but lacked real substance. Rough sex scenes didn\'t add to the plot. Ending left too many characters dangling.
Too much Ham and Baloney and not enough bread. The foundation, or script and story, was really not there. It was a hodge podge of cliches. It seemedn as if DeNiro and Pacino did not really take themselves completely seriously. DeNiro as the anger-challenge d policeman. I expected him to pull out the ol' Travis Bickle line, "You lookin' at me?" n Both of these guys seem too old for these kinds of roles; Brian Dennehy too. They should all be on their way to Golden Pond for some age appropriate roles. n The Script seemed to be cobbled together with elements that neither made sense dramatically -- like rough sex -- but guaranteed a certain box office appeal and helped to get the movie released. n It's always disappointing when you have two fine actors in a mediocre piece. This is not DeNiro or Pacino worthy.
a good action suspense. A little too quick at the end to reveal the twist. Typical DeNiro Pacino language assault. Might buy this on DVD, might not?? Considering what else is out...or has been out this summer...a descent adult choice if you the like the movies at all. Kind-of-an older Clint Eastwood movie feel.
Wow, it was so awesome to see these two film Icons on the screen together again. There performances were great. This Dramatic Thriller has enough depth to where you are not sure what the final outcome would be. I only wish they have been in more than one other movie together, "Heat." Yes they were in the "Godfather" series but never on screen together. Now, that being said, Donnie Walberg, John Leguizamo, Curtis Jackson, and Brian Dennehy are up to par as-well. If you like the dark-suspensefu l cop thrillers then you have to see this. And with DeNiro and Pacino headed the cast you surely can't go wrong!!!
